everything i write is an extension of myself.

for as long as i can remember, and in as many forms possible, i was told to love myself. when i write, i remember it is a part of me- my thoughts, my emotions, my actions, my story. regardless of how much i may hate the poem or regret the story, i choose to put my lipstick on and kiss each manuscript. i choose to love.
